“Playground at Home!”
Under the influence of COVID-19, there are many people who are worried about going outdoors and staying at home to reduce the risk of infection, especially for children with weakened resistance. As a result, they can only play at home while most units in Hong Kong are cramped and cannot accommodate the space needed for recreation. In addition, during the childhood stage, they need the company of their families more than ever. It is significant to encourage interaction among family members to provide a warm space for children to grow up. Therefore, we would like to design furniture that can depict the current housing situation “Superstack” in Hong Kong and strengthen the bonding of large scale family structure through the studied case with a baby.
